So if you are following this blog you know that the zoo was on our summer list of things to accomplish. We did that one of our first days of summer vacation because we were lucky enough to have a sunny day :) It was super warm outside so the animals weren't too active or visible but going to the zoo isn't really about the animals for me anyway......its about spending time with four of my favorite people in the whole world....
Karlee and Rylee documented the whole trip taking pictures with me as well, Karlee on her ipod and Rylee on my phone (which almost landed in with the zebras, giraffes, and elephants at different times throughout the day)
aaaaand my favorite part of the zoo; eating elephant ears on the way back to the car after a long, full afternoon of togetherness :)
